Job Summary :
Preferred Care at Home of North Westchester and Putnam is seeking an experienced Caregiver to join our team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
This particular position requires a caregiver to have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene regimen, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Monitor and report changes in client’s health status to the care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Requirements :
The ideal caregiver would have at least 1 year experience in the home care setting, or certification.
Alzheimer's experience is preferred.
This case requires a licensed driver so valid driver's license with clean driving record is a must.
Someone who is reliable, compassionate and have a passion for caring for the elderly.
